Montgomerie Golf Club Dubai, set in the heart of the prestigious Emirates Hills, is a design collaboration between golfing great Colin Montgomerie and Desmond Muirhead. A links-land style oasis with over 200 acres and featuring 14 lakes and 81 bunkers which will challenge players of all levels.

The flagship course at Emirates golf Club, The Majlis championship course is a challenging par 72, 7.301-yard layout. Designed by Florida-based course architect Karl Litten, the original 18 holes were built in and around the dunes of a beautiful site on the edge of the city of Dubai, donated by His Highness General Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, on whose instructions the desert flora was maintained in its natural state.

The 7,300-yard, par 71 course is located just ten minutes from Sheikh Zayed Road and sits at the heart of the 42 million square foot DAMAC Hills master development. World-renowned and 2016 Olympic golf course architect, Gil Hanse, was appointed to design the spectacular 18-hole championship style golf course as well as the par 3 course, that mimics the play and undulations of the 18-hole golf course.

The design concept for this golf course was to build a true desert-style course similar to those found in Scottsdale, Arizona. At an impressive length of 7,658 yards, this course provides a true test for golfers. The elegant Spanish Colonial Clubhouse features Ranches Restaurant which offers stunning views of the 9th and 18th greens.

Faldo Design has redesigned the Wadi Course at the world famous Emirates Golf Club. The company’s intention was to refresh the strategic quality of the course, whilst retaining a sense of the Wadi’s unique character. The result is an engaging and considered renovation; it might even be said that the Emirates Club now has two equally challenging ‘desert miracles’ to offer its visitors, both amateur and professional alike.

The par 71 course at Dubai Creek that measures 6,967 yards is a memorable journey from the first tee to the 18th green. The superbly manicured fairways are undulating, demarcated by mounds, date and palm trees, and most other times by water. Apart from the Creek, which comes into play on at least four holes, several artificial lakes add to the beauty and difficulty of various other holes.

Tower Links Golf Club in Ras Al Khaimah, designed by Gerald Williams, is without a doubt the most natural golf course in the Emirates and the #1 golf course in the northern emirates. The Par 72, 18 hole course, open since 2004, features a driving range, putting & chipping greens as well as a specific teaching tee. The course which measures some 7098 yards from the Professional tees caters to golfers of all standards, as all holes feature 4 tee boxes to provide golfers of varying abilities the chance to enjoy their round.

Designed by Greg Norman to exist in harmony with the natural desert landscape, Fire is a tough and, needless to say, a fiery challenge for golfers of all abilities. While the Earth course uses bold colours to provide its contrasts, Fire’s are more refined. The native grasses display a golden glint in the sunlight, and away from the immaculate playing surfaces, large terracotta bunkers punctuate the rolling terrain.

Al Badia Golf Club offers an 18-hole championship golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones II. Water is the most prominent feature of this course with eleven lakes, several waterfalls, and a location right along the banks of the Creek. Indigenous trees and plants complement the abundant water features, creating a verdant landscape that is ideal for a round of golf. Strong, gusty winds are another challenging component of Al Badia Golf Club. One of the most interesting holes, according to the designer, is the par-5 fifth hole, which plays uphill through a tricky water course and ends on a green that is well guarded by a lake.
